Iria Beach Art Hotel is one of those places you stumble upon and immediately feel like you’ve hit the jackpot. We stayed here a couple of summers ago, and it became our little slice of paradise on Agia Anna Beach. As a boutique hotel, it combines the luxury of a small, artistic haven with the relaxed vibe that Naxos is famous for.

Art Meets Comfort

Iria Beach Art Hotel is not just a typical beach hotel. It’s full of artistic details—think Cycladic-inspired décor with beautiful artwork throughout the property. You can tell that every little corner has been thoughtfully designed, from the sculptures in the garden to the paintings in the lobby. Anna absolutely loved the artistic touches (she even got inspired to sketch a bit), while I was more focused on soaking up the comfort of our room.

The rooms themselves? Spacious, modern, and with all the amenities you could want—air conditioning, a mini-bar, plush beds, and a balcony. We stayed in a sea-view room, and I highly recommend it. Waking up to the sound of waves and that view of the Aegean Sea was something I won’t forget anytime soon.

Perfect Beach Location

If you love being near the water, Iria Beach Art Hotel is unbeatable. It’s right on the beachfront of Agia Anna, which means you’re literally steps away from the sand. We spent our mornings lounging by the sea while Lukas and Emilia played in the shallow water—safe and perfect for little ones. The beach here is quieter than some of the bigger spots on Naxos, giving it a peaceful, almost private feel.

A Taste of Naxos

Breakfast at Iria Beach was one of the highlights of our stay. They serve up a wonderful mix of local Naxian delicacies, including fresh cheeses, honey, and their homemade pastries. I may have had a bit too much of their loukoumades (fried dough balls drenched in honey)—but hey, you only live once, right?

For dinner, while the hotel offers some lovely dining options, we ventured out to nearby Agia Anna village most evenings. There’s nothing like sitting at a beachfront taverna, watching the sunset while enjoying some freshly grilled seafood.

Wellness and Relaxation

For those looking to unwind, Iria Beach Art Hotel also has a small but delightful spa area. Anna and I took turns getting a relaxing massage while the kids napped—total bliss! There’s also a small gym for those who want to stay active, though, personally, my idea of a workout here was chasing Lukas down the beach!

Explore Naxos from Agia Anna

If you’re up for exploring, the location of Iria Beach makes it easy to hop around the island. Whether it’s visiting the ancient Portara in Naxos Town or hiking up to the Temple of Demeter, everything is just a short drive away. We rented a car for a day and explored the mountain villages, but honestly, coming back to the serenity of Agia Anna and Iria Beach was the perfect end to every adventure.

The Bottom Line

Whether you're an art lover, a beach bum, or just someone who appreciates a good view with their morning coffee, Iria Beach Art Hotel is a wonderful choice for your Naxos stay. It’s boutique, it’s beautiful, and it’s right on one of the best beaches on the island.
