I remember my first stay at Paradiso Hotel—it was the summer of '99, right after my parents (Karl and Ingrid) convinced me that Naxos was the place to visit every year. We’d just come from Chora and stepped into what felt like a hidden gem in Agios Prokopios. The beach was calling, and Paradiso answered!

Cozy Rooms with a View

The hotel is family-run, and you can feel the love and care in every corner. The rooms are simple but perfectly comfortable, a mix of Cycladic charm and modern touches. With air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and most importantly, private balconies offering stunning views of the sea, you'll wake up every day feeling blessed. Waking up to the sound of waves while sipping coffee on the balcony—priceless! Even my son, Lukas, who was only three, seemed enchanted by the view.

Steps Away from the Beach

Let’s talk about location—Agios Prokopios Beach is literally steps away. The beach’s golden sand and crystal-clear water make it one of the best on the island. You’ll love lounging on the free sunbeds provided by the hotel, a rare find in Naxos! Last time, I almost lost track of time here—until my daughter, Emilia, decided to bury my feet in the sand (she's 2, by the way, and very persuasive!).

Delicious Greek Flavors

Ah, the food! Paradiso’s beachside restaurant is a true delight, serving up fresh, local dishes that capture the essence of Naxos. I highly recommend the grilled octopus—it’s a Naxian specialty. If seafood isn’t your thing, their Greek salad is just as fresh and flavorful. One evening, after a long day at the beach, Anna and I watched the sunset with a carafe of local wine—it doesn’t get more Greek than that.

The Warmest Greek Hospitality

Here’s what makes Paradiso stand out: the family-run hospitality. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. Whether you need recommendations on where to explore or help with booking a boat trip, they’ve got you covered. I once asked about the best place to buy cheese (for some reason, Lukas loves Naxian cheese), and they sent me to the local market—spot on!

Explore Naxos with Ease

When you’re ready to explore, you’re just a 10-minute drive from Naxos Town (Chora). Whether you want to stroll through its narrow streets, visit the Portara, or catch a ferry to another island, it’s all within reach. After all these years, I’m still discovering new things about Naxos!
